Step into our world of play, bravery, and acceptance.

Limelight is an ongoing performance series designed to let the creative process keep processing — a space where art can breathe, grow, and reveal itself through live performance.

Each performance invites audiences into a new draft — an honest, unfolding moment of collaboration and discovery. Together, we gather, experience, and evolve.

We’re also opening our doors to guest artists throughout the season.

Fleet Co-op Welcomes You to “Limelight”

Limelight is a five-part performance series inspired by the fiery origins of 19th-20th century theater. Drawing from the literal chemical reaction that powered early stage lights—and the emotional combustion that follows stepping into one—we explore what it means to be exposed, electrified, vulnerable, and alive. Just like the historic limelight could illuminate or incinerate, we’re using this series to embrace the duality of passion: how it thrills, consumes, evolves, and connects us. Rooted in Fleet's theatrical aesthetic and long-standing love affair with light (from our earliest show “Monomyth” with ARRI, a descendant of the original limelight), this show blends the personal and the collective. Each performance will act as a draft, including curated group acts from Fleet Co-op, individual pieces developed by our members, invited collaborators, and community artists—creating a fleeting cabaret-style celebration. We aim to cultivate a vibrant, peer-to-peer (queer-to-queer) creative space—building a universe of artists who lift and illuminate one another. This isn’t just a show—it’s a cultural shift. A place to show up with authenticity. A place to feel proud, renewed, and truly seen. Together, let's create a space that’s less about competition, and more about celebration.

Fleet is tending the Limelight—and inviting you to stand in it.
